Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T Employees

Native American Heritage Month Celebration

DIFF was proud to be a part of the 4th Annual Powwow presented by Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T Employees-#ICAE on Saturday, November 9, in AT&T Discovery District. DIFF Board Member Rachel Salinas is National President of ICAE.

Following the Powwow, DIFF presented a screening of the film, TE ATA, based on the true story of Mary Thompson Fisher, an actress and citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. In the prime of her career, she performed in England and Scandinavia, at the White House for President Franklin Roosevelt, for the King and Queen of Great Britain, and on stages across the United States.

The screening was part of the new “DIFF Presents” Indigenous Film Series presented by DIFF in collaboration with ICAE.
