For three days in August, the inaugural DIFF Shorts Film Festival, presented by the Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF), championed the art of short films. It was a chance to showcase cinematic gems, elevate the short film, celebrate those who make them, and foster a vibrant community of storytellers and film enthusiasts.
Why DIFF Shorts?
Founded in 2006 on the principle that film should be placed on the same pedestal as other art forms, DIFF is committed to supporting short films and the filmmakers who bring them to life. We believe short films are a unique and powerful medium for storytelling, deserving of the same recognition as feature films.
